Problem, it evolves from Nosepass, and you can only evolve it after the 5th gym, so carrying Nosepass's useless ass around for so long brings it down a lot.
Probopass is very tanky and does some damages but not too much, with 145 defense/special defense, 55 attack, and 75 special attack, can give you more steel type if it has magnet pull (which increases the chance of encountering a steel type by 30% if there's one available, which is extremly good since the steel type is amazing), or sturdy, which is kinda useless for Probopass. Also, remember that Aggron is slow, though that one is pretty obvious. Overall, Aggron is pretty damn good, even if it has some key weaknesses that keeps it out of S tier, so A tier. Moveset wise, it gets iron head, rock slide, double edge if you have rock head and go for it, earthquake, and other nice things that can be gimmicky like automize, or things for pute damages over the consistancy of iron head with iron tail and heavy slam. Though be warned, it is frail specialy without his mega, especialy to water types, which in Hoenn, are everywhere. While the rock typing isn't the best paired with steel for a wall, it does give a good second stab, but you could also use Mega Aggron, who has 140 attack, 230 defense, and even a special defense boosted to 80, and a special ability that reduces the damages of super effective moves, that already don't do all that much damages if they're physical, and can be more usefull than sturdy or rock head, even if they're both good abilities, almost not having weaknesses in a pratical term is just good when you can just eat physical moves in the face while never flinching. First of all, steel type with actual stats, said stats including 110 attack and an outstanding 180 defense? Yes please.
